# Archive: the migration of the Vue 3 rewrite into frontend-v3

**Status: frozen. Do not edit the files in this folder.** They are kept because they hold decisions, measurements and requirements that exist nowhere else. The living plan is [`V3-PARITY-PLAN.md`](../../V3-PARITY-PLAN.md) in the repository root.

## What happened

In September and October 2026 the Bolt team built a Vue 3 version of the kulibri frontend in a separate repository, `kulibri-rewrite` (GitHub: `Bolt-Kulibri/kulibri-rewrite`). On 7 October 2026 its final state (tag `bolt-last`, commit `0cc50e8`) was merged into the folder `frontend-v3` of this repository, on the branch `vue3-redesign`, and the standalone repository was frozen. **There is no separate rewrite project any more.** `frontend-v3` is "the new UI"; it runs next to the classic frontend (`frontend/`) behind a switch, and the goal is parity with the classic frontend (see the parity plan).

## Translation

The documents in `rewrite-repo/` are German. The repository rule is English for docs, applied when a document is touched. Translating the ones the team keeps using (first `PARITY-GAPS.md`, `po-fragen.md` and `qa-pruefliste.md`) is a separate step, planned after the parity plan is in use. When a document is translated and kept alive, move it out of the archive into `docs/` and leave a one-line pointer here.
